Well I think you discouraged him a little... :? (I could be wrong on this)

feaured-pages-questions-t59843.html#p849158

But once again I will say SP could use a little more uniqueness by featuring pages from countries that are rarely ever featured. I do feel for Parofes that I too have not seen a featured mountain page from Brazil.

Actually...

if you read that post it sounds like he had a real beef with SoCalHiker. Wasn't with me. I wonder what the issue was.

He did Thank you, but he also said "Mr. "I am always right"". That's what threw me off on that one. Also I put in parentheses (could be wrong) because I was not sure. So I did make a little bit of an assumption there.

Josh, Chad and other Spers,

Calm down dudes...hehehe

I am NOT pissed off with Chad...but the second guess was right.
I even choose a song to go with it: Does anyone here knows the band Primus? Started o 1989 and I am a big fan since 1992. There is one song for Guido on one album, this song is called "Mr Know it all". hehehe...

He is just never wrong, pure and simple.

But besides that (which obviuosly discourage me a little bit) I JUST got married a week ago, no trips at all (but I am going for a 2200km round trip TODAY and when I come back there will be a few photos).

And well, at dec 4th I am going to Patagonia for our honeymoon, there will be tons of photos...

Anyway...too much work...too much short time...away from the mountains...but don`t worrie folks, I wouldn`t delete my stuff here.

Cheers!

Hotoven and I wrote an article on how to get into alpoine climbing. http://www.summitpost.org/alpinism-101- ... ion/756518 We attempted to write an outline for an alpinist's education. More than write a 'How To' article, we attempted to lay out what skills and alpinist need to learn and how to learn it. We think it is a great article for the featured section, especially given the critism over a lack of technical climbing content.
