For some reason I'm not able to upload images anymore. I've never had a problem until recently. Any suggestions? Thanks!

What method are you doing it from? (upload page or editor) What browser and version are you using? I was able to upload a 7.4 MB photo just a moment ago via the latest version of FireFox. But do note that I usually upload my photos using the bulk uploader.

I have been trying to contribute images to peak and range pages by using the "Add Image" link on each page. I an using Google Chrome and have never had issues before now.

All I get is a blank screen after the upload completes and it doesn't show up in my image catalog as having been uploaded. http://www.summitpost.org/new_create_object.php

You probably are trying to upload something over 8 MB. Did you recently start using a new camera with more megapixels than the last one?

I think there was a problem for a few days, namely May 31 through June 2. I had the same problem trying to upload photos, but it seems to be working now.

Yes I did. Is there a file size limit? This might be the problem because my photos are larger now. However, I have submitted a couple from this camera without a problem fairly recently.

Well, I'll give it another shot and see if it works now.

I've tried reducing the file size and am still unable to upload. It's getting frustrating because I have a lot of good photos I'd like to share.

PM sent. Hopefully I'm able to identify the issue.

The issue is that the resized photo is 8.1 MB which is barely too large. I recommended that it be barely resized more so that it gets to 7.9 MB or less.

I was just able to start uploading pictures again. I think I just had them slightly too large as you said. I thought I had them under the 8 MB limit but I guess not.

I am trying to upload pictures and they are uploading sideways and upside down but not right side up. I even twisted the picture orientation to account for this before uploading and that didn't help. Has anyone seen this before?

One way to solve the problem is to open the photo in Paint and then re-save it.
