Split Mtn around Aug 11-15

Looking for a ride and casual partner, or just a lift to the trailhead from big pine, to the Red Lake trailhead sometime during the week of Aug 11. Climbing Split Mtn with overnight @ the lake. I'm into hammock camping and can share knowledge & gear if you're interested. Thanks!

I am curious what does your hammock weigh? You backpack with it?

The hammock with bug net weighs about two pounds, tarp weighs about a pound, and the under quilt is another pound. It works great for summer backpacking in the Sierras.
