Good move, Colorado Springs and the front range area, has a life time worth of climbing. check out the Pikes Peak chapter of the Colorado mountain club, They are out every weekend bagging peaks. also City Rock climbing gym in downtown is a great place to meet other climbers. Or google colorado springs rock climbers (meet up) I think there are dozens if not hundreds of members.
You won't have any problem hooking up with other climbers, and like minded athletes.
