Climb (Elks, Horseshoe, ?) Saturday.

Weather permitting, I was hoping to do a snow climb this Saturday (Sunday is Mother's Day). I would probably leave Friday afternoon and either car camp or hike in a bit.

Ashcroft Mountain (Elks) has a nice looking couloir on the Southwest side. We could stay in the Markley Hut Friday night (one hour snowshoe/ski from the trailhead), right near the bottom of the couloir, if enough people are interested to justify the hut cost. The same thing could be done at the Lindley Hut and climbing Star or Taylor Peaks. A snow camp could also be used to climb Conundrum, Castle, or Greg Mace Peaks.

Alternately, Horseshoe Mountain might make a good climb, with a camp at the trailhead Friday night. Conditions permitting, Boudoir Couloir might be worth a shot (if conditions are not in, another route could be used).

Actually, I'd be open to other suggestions as well.
