Mount Carleton

I was just wondering if anyone had been up New Brunswick highest peak and had info on exactly how demanding it is. I have talked to lots of local people but haven't been able to get a time frame on what to expect from an adult. We're taking our kids to the back country spot below the summit and are confident in their ability to make it (it helps that my husband and I will be the pack mules) but am interested in how long I should expect it to take us to get there. If anyone has been up this mountain or better yet camped at the back country spots and have some info that would be great. I know the kids are really looking forward to getting to their second high point in Canada (they went to PEI's last December and thought it was surprisingly interesting even though it was rather flat and basically just a mail box in the woods in the snow between a couple of farmers fields, I guess it's just how you present it). Thanks in advance to anyone who has info and I'll be sure to take alot of pictures to ad to this site.
