Posted: Wed Jun 19, 2019 5:25 pmThat is definitely the word on the street. Apparently a crevasse spanning the entire glacier below the Baker-Colfax saddle is making it tough. There are plenty of other interesting routes that should still be in shape: Easton Glacier, Boulder Glacier, Sauk Glacier and I can recommend all of them as being not any more difficult that the CD. The Boulder Glacier has an interesting, varied approach and one section of 3/4 class scrambling.

Posted: Wed Jun 19, 2019 6:35 pmI was up there 2 weeks ago and that crevasse was starting to open up, snow level was really really low. I wouldn't be surprised if CD is more or less impassable.
