Mount Adams South Slopes TH reopened
Posted: Mon Jun 03, 2013 3:13 pmAfter being closed due to the Cascades fire the TH opened this weekend with limited parking. This is good cause I'm coming out in two weeks.

Posted: Mon Aug 12, 2013 7:07 pmHow is the road condition to the trail head? Is it pretty rough, or will a Subaru make it okay? I know its a little late in the season, but I'm contemplating a climb with in the next month. How is the snow pack and will it usually hold though September? I want to avoid a dry scree slog!

Posted: Mon Aug 12, 2013 7:40 pmSnow melted out early this year and you can get to the TH in a car so your Subaru will be fine. I'd call trout lake for conditions but you will not be on snow until well into the climb.
