Posted: Sun Mar 19, 2006 11:10 pmI wonder why you decided to climb around Arequipa instead of Juaraz? I climbed Chachani because it sounded much more interesting than Misti but it was still a pretty dull slog, a lackluster summit with a so-so view. I think almost any peak in the Blanca would be much more interesting. If I were to do my trip again I'd spend more time climbing in the Blanca and skip Arequipa, although the city itself is nice enough.
