Technical high peaks in Argentina/Chile? Been there? Beta?

I'm headed south for the winter again and wanted to include some technical mountains as a side to my granite. Anybody out there climbed any great technical rock/ice/snow routes on peaks in Chile or Argentina?

I do not want to climb Aconcagua or anything that requires an absurd permit fee.

I do want adventure or expedition style climbs.


Pictures or links of specific mountains and ranges would be nice.

Get on GoogleEarth, buy the John Biggar Andes book and check out the SE face of Tupungato, south face of El Plomo, Cerro Polleras, west face of Mercedario (pics here on SP), SW face of Ansilta II, NW ridge of Alto de los Leones, south (SW?) face of Marmolejo, SE face of Pabellon (Negro), W face Pico Polaco, S face La Ramada.

I have climbed none of these and in some cases, neither has anyone else.

How high?
