impressive peak, i'm not sure if it qualifies as a "trekking peak" though, the one of the extreme left looks much more manageable...when do you plan to this?

me also find it strange that it is the peak to the right, because i know that Workman Peak, is very close to Hispar La and on this picture i do not see Hispar La.

from where is the picture taken?

Workman Peak, is supposed to be climable from Hispar La and i received this email from A NZ-guy who climbed the peak:

"Workman Peak is not technical, and in the same league as Nevado Pisco in Peru and Huayna Potosi in Bolivia. It is indeed a snow done. Technical rate not more then PD (peu dificile)"

By the way, there are lot's of BIG crevasses at Snow Lake. Make sure that you are proficient with crevasse extraction techniques. We needed to use this a couple of times. Some of the Pakistani mountain guides aren't very experienced by our standards - we had to show them how to rope up for glacier travel.
