Aconcagua for example is about 3-4k. Most companies count about 24 days. Can it be done quicker? I was thinking maybe 10-12 days since I don't really need to acclimate much up to 15k orso.
10-12 days for a 7000er, are you Nepalese or something. All I can say is that cutting corners isnt the way to approach this type of climb.
Well, I read up a bit on Aconcagua before and 12 days seems a doable timeframe for that mountain. Since Lhakpa Ri is barely lower and probably easier (it's pretty much a hike up to 21500'), I figured one should be able to do it much quicker than 24 days.
So, it's more of a question than anything
. Why is it that you need a lot more time for Lhakpa Ri than Aconcagua?
Not Nepalese either but I can easily acclimate to 14k locally, so that's obviously a big plus.
I do realize though that not leaving much of a timeframe for weather isn't the best way to go...
