Bisotun wall in Iran !

Bisotun is obviously the monster of rock in Iran, 5km in width and 1200 meters of vertical rock with 3 big ledges make Bisotun one of the most Challenging wall in the world . The rock is limestone and sharp in some parts so it makes a good friction for the climbers in easy routes . The summit of Bisotun is 2500m high above the sea level. The wall is also an ancient place and its protected in some places by the Unesco and the government and actually forbidden for climbing . But most of the wall is free and you could do climb over there .
Bisotun has Sport routes ( from 5 to 8 ) , Trad lines ( from 4 to 7c ) and up to 1200 meter high! There are 3 small huts in the middle of the wall so sleeping there is possible to finish the wall next day .There has been 3 international Festival in the wall and you could see the movie of last festival in the attached video . Some of the famous routes on the wall are like : Festival ( Sport , 7b+ , 600m ), Python( Sport, 8a, 300m) , Kariz (sport , 6b+, 250m), Karakal(Sport, 7c, 250m) , or trad lines like : Gharargah (1200m, 6a ), Shirin ( 5c ,250m), Farhad (250m, 5b ), Harryroust(4, 200m ) and many other routes . It means that with different grades always possible to find many routes !
