I had the sweats, chills and uncontrollable shaking for the better part of yesterday.

I had time to think, "what would life be like without SP?" May be I spend too much time on this website. But if I can't be in the mountains in person, SP helps me get a little closer.

Strange, I heard on the 14ers site that SP was back. Went to check and said that it was down for maintenance. :? Cleared by browser cache (3 hours later) and then poof! Suddenly SP worked again. :)

So does anyone know what was going on?

A big thanks for doing this! Image Image

I've personally done this before with a ftp a couple of times as well as many times imported and exported sql databases.

Mandatory server migration by our hosting provider. The server had to be brought down and entirely copied over to a new server.

I'm still getting : "SP is down for maintenance, and will be back as soon as possible ..."

I was able to upload (download?) my profile page by going on to Google and typing in "What the hell happened to SP ???"

When I heard 'J.L.' mumbling something about a load of computer jargon, I knew there was a glimmer of light at the end of the scary tunnel.

SP should not being having any maintenance messages anymore. Anyone who still has it, needs to clean their cache. Cache is basically a temporary data which can cover up what the actual site should be displaying. Below are some links of how to delete it based on the browser.

Internet Explorer Users:
http://www.wcnet.org/support/wc/iecache.php

Firefox Users:
http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How ... he%20cache

Google Chrome:
http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/an ... swer=95582

Still having problems? I would be happy to assist. :)
