What's New - Asia

<a href="http://www.summitpost.org/cgi-bin/mread.pl?f_id=17&i_id=977&t_id=977"><b>Next Whats New Asia Thread (Oct-Dec, 2005)</b><a>

This thread will highlight new pages for Asia and the Middle East. It will include mountain pages, routes, and trip reports.

I will keep an eye on the <a href="http://www.summitpost.org/show/whatsnew_query.pl">What's New</a>, and <a href="http://www.summitpost.org/show/mountain_query.pl?continent=Asia&country=Country&state=US+State&keyword=Key+Word&sort_by=Last+Edited&x=9&y=6">Mountains - Order by Last Edited</a> pages, but if I miss something that you feel should be included then simply add a message to the bottom of this thread and I'll incorporate the information up here. This is especially true for significantly revamped pages, since I can't tell if the edit was a simple spelling correction or a complete re-write.

Added a little trekking peak in the border area between Tibet and Xinjiang in China:
Satsum Kang.

One of the giants on the extreme west of the Kunlun Shan was added yesterday:

Added 13 photos to the Loinbo Kangri page. These were sent to me by the 2006 International Expedition.
New Loinbo Kangri photos.

I was almost sure you would comment them in one way or the other. One of these guys will arrive here tomorrow. I hope he had a good time, but I doubt it. The weather has been rotten in the mountains the last 10-12 days, so I was lucky when I choose my resting period.

Finally, I found a good connection again and that resulted in the completion of the page about the NW Ridge on Koskulak.
