I recently adopted two New Mexico pages from a former SP member who is no longer active at SP. They were the two lowest-scoring pages on the N.M. list.

I have revamped them to include photos, clearer descriptions, updated links, etc...

and

I also took over four of his Arizona pages, which I am still working on.

Adopted pages:

I recently adopted four pages for mountains in Arizona from a former SP member. I have updated these pages, fixed old links, added new photos, and corrected information when appropriate.

Reiley Peak:

Peloncillo Mountain
http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock ... ntain.html

Newman Peak
http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock ... -Peak.html
(includes southern route driving and hiking directions and AZ State land permit info)

Sierra Estrella Peak
http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock ... -Peak.html
(the driving and hiking directions have been heavily reworked to be more specific especially since roads out here get closed or bulldozed often.)

"You don't pull on Superman's cape,
You don't spit into the wind.
You don't pull the mask off of old Lone Ranger,
And you don't mess around on the north side of Nebo!

NICE.

Great pics! How was the road to the trailhead? Is it still washed out by the narrows?

Nope. It's open all the way to the Loop Camp now. They must have fixed it this season. I sent a note to the owner of Deseret Peak.

Yep, wonderin' where all that "melt water" will go?

Bryce looked mighty dry, lonely and windy last month ...

Not complaining, however ..

Anybody on SP who lives or has lived in central TX will recognize this local classic:
