Do you hear the deafening silence of all the midwesterners left behind that hate you right now?

The silence in the mid-west forum is something we should all be proud of. It means we have all left to go someplace else :D

J/K...I do like my home base.

Just got back from a month out west.
Took AAI course in the Cascasdes.
Went to the Winds for 8 days, did Fremont & Gannett.
Cooled my heels in the Tetons for a few days after that.
Much fun!

Hope everyone else has been getting after it!

Way to go! Sounds like an awesome trip. I hit Kings and Borah Peaks last month and just returned from a week in Yosemite where I bagged 4 peaks. They were all pretty easy but the views were stunning. It's back to the grind now until my honeymoon next month.

Hope everyone else is enjoying the summer.

I just returned from a week of hiking/climbing solo in CO and bagged 6 14ers (Grays, Torreys, Quandary, Bross, Lincoln, Cameron) and 1 13er (Grizzly). It was unusually wet (rain in the morning and a night) and I got dumped on a couple of times camping and hiking. Good times though.
I just wish it was closer to the mountains from here though. :(
