Ceciré - Split the difference   Sucess!

From superbagneres to summit. Followed a duff trail and ended up between the GR10 and the old GR10. Bad move, will stick to one or the other next time.

Birthday present  Sucess!

On Judith's birthday we hiked from Superbagnères to Pic de Céciré and beyond to Hourquette de Hounts-Secs. Returned the same way. Three days later we climbed from the Granges d'Astau to Col d'Espingo and beyond, also hiking towards the same saddle from the other side. However, weather quickly deteriorated after noon with stormclouds piling up. We decided that we didn't want to be caught in the storm, so returned short of our destination. The weather broke shortly after we settled down in our car.

Small peak with a big panorama  Sucess!

The previous day we climbed Maupas and Boum in a very long day and before the return to home we climbed the sunday this nice and interesting peak with a very wide panorama from Superbagnères. It was a impressive week-end.
