Drasch Route on NW ridge from Rif. Tridentina
Ascent from Giogo Lungo side and descent to the Tridentina side
My first really long ascent with a guide. Loved it!
From Birnluecken hut. Very good conditions though rapidly worsening at the rocky bottleneck at around 2950m. There are belay / abseil slings now. Did not need rope and axe for ascent but used axe / crampons for descent.
Fantastic climb!
during an instruction course at Essener-Rostocker hut we climbed Dreiherrenspitze as highlight of the week.
In the clouds coming from Tridentina but a wonderful sunny day from Giogolungo.
