PICKETS APPROACHES

These are the main approach routes into the Northern and Southern Pickets. They are all drawn to the same scale. Each profile indicates the start and end of the approach. Each approach ends in the high country at the border of the Picket Range. Actual hiking distances are probably 10-15% greater than shown due to elevation changes and curves in the route. Those Southern Pickets approaches are about as efficient as you can get. Straight up through the tangle!
