Piegan Pass and Mount Siyeh

Piegan Pass and Mount Siyeh

The west face of Mount Siyeh as viewed from Bishop's Cap. The Piegan Pass Trail zig-zags across the lower slopes of Cataract Mountain; the pass is out-of-frame to the right, and is typically enjoyed by hiking up to the pass from Siyeh Bend on Going-to-the-Sun Road before heading downhill to the Many Glacier Hotel. Total distance is about 13 miles. Please click here for a diagram of the west slope route of Mount Siyeh. September 2, 2009

Re: Wow!

Thanks Blake! Sorting through my old photos on here and just came across your comment. As you know, views from Bishop's Cap are quite spectacular!
