Nice hike on a winter morning, but the trail can get very crowded.
This is a good workout for those living in Phoenix provided you don't mind following a steady stream of people. Nice hike though overcrowded.
I attempted this hike in the Summer of 1994 and got about halfway to the top before turning back. I was not prepared for it. I did make the summit about a week later. There were a lot of hikers, and we had typical Phoenix weather: sunny and hotter than hell.
Climbed this one over spring break. The views of the city are pretty cool. There are a lot of people that climb this peak.
Did this one once and had no desire to do it again. I bagged it and thats all that matters to me. Suprising to see how many people don't reach the actual summit which is about 15 feet higher. I spent about an hour on top and not one person vetured over to the actual summit.
