Pietra Quadra (m.2356) is a peak in Orobie alps on the left orographic side of Brembana valley. To reach the summit along the normal route, a toll road from Roncobello (m.1007) to Baite di Mezzeno (m.1591) and then a good track to the Pietra Quadra lake (m.2114) and the summit (m.2356). The final slope is quite steep but easy. Impressive panorama from the top towards Orobie, Central and Western Alps main peaks. Really advisable during fall for stunning colours...
