Pigeon Spire

Pvalchev ascending the West Ridge, Solo Ascent, Alpine II, 5.4. August 26, 2006. Bugaboo Provincial Park, BC, Canada This is the crux descent right before the final ascent to the 2nd and true summit that many use climbing shoes for, but boots are adequate for experienced climbers.

Re: Looks fun !

No, I keep forgetting to ask him. Hoping to get out with him tomorrow, will try and remember. Is it made out of gold and laced with diamonds? If it is, that is mine, I lost it. Cheers.

Re: Looks fun !

Hahaha, I only just got to use one of these magic stopper removers on Saturday. It seems that the thinner blade is useful for smaller nuts with soldered cables, like HB offsets. I had to be properly 'educated' in its use though :)

Re: scary stuff...

Apparently.. honestly it makes no sense, an honest beta shot showing the crux which is excellent information for future climbers, and someone goes and downvotes it.. it's beyond funny, I've refused to get involved in this in the past but it's too funny. I've always thought this website is about CLIMBING BETA, we're a minority it seems though. I see this awesome flower in the neighbour's garden right now though, I should probably go take 100 pictures of it. I'm sure if I say I found it on the summit of Pigeon it'd get awesome votes. I'll stop here before this rant goes over the line... cheers for good climbing, let's get out Monday :-)
