via the south after doing Pincushion Pinnacle
I climbed this one with Steven Stembridge and Harlan on a beautiful weather day. There was patchy snow above 6,000 feet.

Via the South Cliff Band
I had an unexpected day off from work, so I started at the Calico Basin TH, took the wash around between Kraft and Graycap, the ascended to the saddle between Turtle and Graycap and dropped down into Brownstone Basin, taking a moment to admire the pictographs found there. Across the basin I spotted a "weakness" in the cliff band and headed up there to exposed class 3 rock and loose chutes to make the summit. Descending I took the north trending ridge down to an easy drainage out into Brownstone again, and headed back.

Picturesque mountain
Easier than expected hike from horse corral on Cliff Shadows. Passed some aesthetic, interesting limestone canyons on the way up.

First attempt at La Madre from my front door was aborted and I climbed the west ridge to the north summit instead
