This panorama was taken from the summit of Mount Pisgah (NC). The mountain on the left is Frying Pan, the central high countries are the Sixers that make up Shining Rock and Middle Prong, with Cold Mountain on the right.

Wow!

Very Good. The curvature on the horizon is amazing.

One of my most favorite areas.

For some reason, I had never hiked to the top of Mount Pisgah. I'd just pass by the trailhead...did this for many years before finally bagging it. I think it might have been the tower up there that put me off. Tough hike, and a great view.

I agree... Mount Pisgah's tower takes away from the overall experience.
