Day trip to the volcano
Nice and easy walk-up from the Pas de Bellecombe parking lot. Route gets crowded so I recommend to start very early, before sunrise.

This Volcano is a must see
Not much of a mountaineering endeavor if you do it from the parking lot on the crater rim, but still, such incredible topography. For my money, better than the big island of Hawaii.
