I was on the Piz Boè sometime in the middle of August 1985. Lousy weather, zero view, crammed with people like on the highway during rush hour. And this was on a bad day - I wonder what the population rate up there is in beautiful weather?
Scrambled from Passo Gardena touched Rifugio Cavazza al Pisciadu and Rifugio Boe on the N°666 and N°638 trails.
Wonderful panoramic view with some photos taken.
Nice and easy climb. Perfect Summer Day.
Climbed in August 2008 in very bad weather conditions - very poor visibility, non-stop snowed.
Just a stop-and-go during a longer trekking, some time ago...
The via ferrata was fantastic and not crowded at all. Nice summit views. Descended via the normal route back to Pordoi pass.
First climb in the Dolomites. Beautiful weather, but very crowded!
Easy path, lot of people, beautiful vieuw, lot of fun running down to passo Pardoi through the loose stones.
in bikini's catching some high altitude rays are my abiding memory! Climbed from Selva, the return to the village across the plateau was nice.
Too crowed in summer
Interesting and with less people Strenta ridge to ref. Kostner
Climbed in Summer 2003, Its a pretty nice trip.
Nice day out. A few snow patches covering the trail in places.
A lot of people in sneakers. We were the first on the summit this day. For only two minutes. A motorway!
Whata a pity, the summit was as crowded as a city street.
Nice walk in nice scenery. But we hadn't good aspect, it could be better. But it was nice day...
FANTASTICO VIEW FROM THE TOP.
BLUE SUNNY SKY...
AFTER RIF FRANZ KOSTNER.-AL VALLON -, WE REACHED 3.152 M PIZ BOE VIA
FERRATA LICHTENFELSER STEIG.
IT WAS VERY THRILLING AND WE ALL FOUND
THIS VIA VERY GOOD.
THE FIRST CLIMB OUTSIDE SCANDINAVIA.
STEFAN AND MARIELOUISE SPÅNG
STAFFAN AND STELLA KÄLL LINDQVIST
Nice hike. We were early enough to be among the first ones on the summit. Unfortunately lots of clouds.
Easy path for a great panorama.
ascent from Sella Road, 1850m. A very cold summer day, with snow falling at the top. Finding a refuge and an antenna just at the top is very very horrible. Very nice massif, huge and moon-like landscape.
Early the year, still much snow on top.
First ascend with cold and stormy weather, the last high mountain for my father.
Second ascend during a hike across the Sella-group over regular hiking-trails. Perfect weather in a world of stones.
