A beautiful day
The weather in the Alps during the summer of 2014 was not very reliable, so when the forecast predicted a sunny day, I made sure I was ready for it.
From the Sesvenna Hütte I went up along the normal route, but for the descent I took the (marked) route to the Avigna valley to the south. As there are no mountain refuges in that area, I camped around 2200 m, not far below the the S-charljoch.
