Glacier was still passable, but won't be for much longer. Lower 1/3 of the route on quite poor rock, upper sections on perfect granite. Easy to protect, except for one ca. 6m section of slab.

Normal route
It was a nice route up to Pizzo Cengalo with a bit of climbing and some snow.
I climbed solo the normal route from Bagni Masino 2.270 m in 4h 30 (sky-running style). The weather was perfect and panorama from the top absolutely fantastic.

Climbed the Spigolo Vinci on a beautiful (and cold) October day. We missed the right attack thus extending the route of 4/5 lengths, which was even better.

Route Climbed: Normal route Date Climbed: 23.07.2005I'v done this route in one day starting from Bagni Masino at 1.100 m. In Total 5 hours to reach the summit (2.200 m) and about 3 hours to go down.
