Hi all,

I've always been enthralled by hiking/camping and the outdoors in general, but I've recently realized a desire/passion for rock climbing with an eventual hope of some genuine mountaineering. I'm just starting out (Been to a gym a few times, climb on every rock I can possibly find) but the gym isn't really doing it for me. I'm a very quick and motivated learned who usually does a lot of self-teaching, but the consequence of error here is a little higher than my normal learning activities.

If anyone has the patience and willingness to help a newbie get into climbing, or just wants to go on a good hike in the Blue Ridge, let me know!
