Description

Are any climbers from DC headed out to Colorado for the 2008 Ice Fest?

If so, I'm going to be there from 7- 14 January and am looking for partner(s) for some climbing at the Ice Park. I have the necessary gear -- ice tools, crampons, ropes and hardware -- and am happy to belay for better climbers or trade belays with people who are fairly new to ice climbing (as I am).

	Group of three Texans will be at Ouray Ice park Jan 5 to 8 Saturday thru Tuesday, to climb ice at the ice park. We can accommodate you if you need a partner for a day. Must have own gear and some experience belaying, Ice Park card and reasonably pleasant. We are all over 50, avid weekend mountain climbers and have stories to tell.
