Description

Hi, and thanks for your interest!

Working as an Assistant Guide for Colorado-based Mountain Trip, I will climb Denali this summer to raise money for cancer research. I have chosen to climb Denali because it presents a rigorous test of personal strength – and to raise funds for Silent Spring Institute (http://www.silentspring.org/). My goal is to raise $5,000 for Silent Spring Institute to go towards research that aims to determine links between the environment and breast cancer. 100% of donations will go directly to Silent Spring Institute! I have chosen to attempt this spectacular climb to challenge myself, and to challenge others to support the pioneering research at Silent Spring Institute.

To learn more about me and the climb (and to donate a dollar if you can!) please check out my fundraising website at:

Cheers,
ali

I'm interested in Denali in Spring. Was on the West Buttress last spring, but did not summit and want to return this spring. I would like to be back by June 8th. Any flexibility in leaving earlier?

Hi Ali,
I sent a reply to your gmail account. I'm trying to be home by June 12-14th for another climbing adventure in Jackson.
Hope this works out--it would be fun!

Both with the climb and the fund raising! My mother passed from Breast Cancer in 1999. I had a great trip to Denali back in 2005.

Best wishes,
Jason
