Description

Hey y'all,
I'm a year away from finishing Graduate school and my souls screaming to head back into the mountains. So here's my deal. I'm thirty-two and just about to have the time and the resources to really spend a good deal of time in the mountains. I have good skills at the moment but I really want to have great skills. I’m interested in becoming a 5.8ish trad climber, solidly. and spending enough time and learning enough to be really safe and really proficient in the alpine arena. I have one year left of the confinements of school and I work four weekend days a month while that's happening. On the days that I'm not working and even some of the mornings before work (it starts at 3pm) I'm going to be getting out and trying to get up high. Maybe that means things that are close by, mt. tam, mt. diablo, and mission peak. But in that mix I'll be taking one day and quick overnight trips up to desolation wilderness. kings canyon etc. As time allows, multi-day trips with technical aspects are on the list. I'm heading in the direction of summer and winter ascents of bigger mtns. If you're into it, let me know. burhans1er@hotmail.com
