Description
I'm a 23-year old student living down in Augusta, GA, who travels up to the Toccoa/Helen, GA area on my weekends(Fri-Sat) to do bouldering, rappels, and setting up top ropes. I'm looking for a reliable and safe belay/climbing partner who is comfortable in the 5.6-5.10 range so that I can actually climb some.
My info:
-Moderate amount of indoor gym climbing.
-12-day Mountaineering/Rock Climbing course with American Alpine Institute in the Cascades.
-Comfortable on 5.7-5.8 real rock, working on my mileage on .9/.10.
-I have a 60m BlueWater 10.2mm dry rope, no falls on it yet, as well as a basic rack for top-roping/sport climbs.
-Lots of experience with belaying a top-roped climber as well as a good amount of experience belaying a lead climber.
If you are climbing at a much higher level(5.10-5.13), I don't mind going over and belaying you for a while on harder walls if you don't mind spending some time on the noob walls with me. I'm free most Fridays and Saturdays all day, drop me a line if you are interested!
