Black Mountain is accessed via HWY 160 (aka Main St in KY, or Inman Road in VA).

The highpoint of HWY 160 is the border of KY/VA, and has a sign which incorrectly lists Black Mtn elevation as 4,145 ft when really it is 4,139 ft and further up the mountain (to the west) as seen in this photo.
