I have hopped up on this peak many times. It is a really easy walk to the top, and has some of the best landscape for how easy it is to get to.
Been up many times. What a view.
Fun hike to warm up the legs for a week in the Cascades!
found a sick bivy spot near the summit of plummer to camp for the night and wake up to the sunrise over pinnacle
Boealps BCC climb via Lane/Denman saddle. Triple summit day with Lane, Denman, and Plummer.
Not sure why this disappeared from the climber's log. Did this between Pinnacle and Eagle Peaks this day.
Could you inform me about the trail from Eagle to the Cliff Lake area?
of three that day. Easy, mostly class I trip from Pinnacle Saddle. Did this one as part of three that day with Maddie. Denman was next.
It as very smoky on top
This hike was very smoky but still very worthwhile. Nice to get a new summit.
A nice Spring outing with Matt, Jacob and Chad.
Awesome day trip! Stevens Canyon Road was closed due to snow, so my friends and I parked at Narada Falls and took the 1.5ish mile trail to Reflection Lake. From there, we followed the Pinnacle Saddle Trail. Once at the saddle, we hiked to the top of Plummer, and then scrambled to the top of Pinnacle. Looking at Pinnacle Peak from the top of Plummer, I didn't think that it would be wise to try the Pinnacle scramble without ropes. We decided to do it anyway, and it wasn't nearly as bad/exposed as it looked from a distance. Lots of fun, spectacular views! We arrived at the parking lot around 9AM, and were home (near Tacoma) by 4:30PM.
10/03/14 After making quick work of Pinnacle Peak I decided I'd better bag this peak quickly while I was there. Found the infamous reflection pond up there for pictures.
warmup for Pinnacle
Combined with Lane Peak and Denman! Nice weather early on but whiteout in the afternoon. I have an album for the trip!
I saw this trail going up Plummer after coming down off of Pinnacle Peak and gave it a go.
Nice short trip from the trail and saddle to get great views of Rainier, the Tatoosh Range, and Adams and Saint Helens to the south.
Nice summit lunch spot to view the South face of Pinnacle after climbing it earlier the same morning. Good two'fer
Great day hike after finishing Unicorn the day before. The trail was partially covered by snow, but the traverse up and across the snow is still fun and easy.
This was a while ago but I remember it being really fun and easy with great views.
