Beautiful summit! Combined this one with Pinnacle Peak since it seemed like the cool thing to do. :) The summit push from the Pinnacle/Plummer saddle was pretty easy. I thought the views from the summit were amazing, some of the best in the Tatoosh that I've seen so far. Great hike and not too difficult IMO.
It's impossible to describe the views atop this peak. In every direction you look the sights you behold are all breathtaking. Of all the places I have hiked to, I would have to say this had some of the best views yet. Only problem is the ease of the hike from the roadside trail head makes you feel like you haven't earned them. Oh well, I'll take it!

Took my apprentice up (age 13) for a spring climb, now he is 22 married and I make him lead all pitches on all the hard peaks since I hate exposure!
An easy walk up from Pinnacle saddle.
Good short trail from lake and scramble to summit.
It may not be as tall or technical as the other Tatoosh peaks, but it does have some of the best views. What a great tree.
Nice crux move at the tree..lots of fun. Next stop: Denman.
Bagged this on after Pinnacle.
Climbed in winter conditions with my future wife, one week before we got married. Had snow and a wind chill of -17. Ice axes useful on this day.
Same day as Pinnacle, climbed them both. Great exercise and views.
Visited with friendly family of goats on the way up. Good root holds on the ascent.
Six OSATers did the Traverse in the late spring from The Castle to Eagle, summiting them all. We camped just south of Lane Peak, which is the most enjoyable of the scrambles.
Fun climb, excellent weather. Scrambled up 30 foot gulley on way up, bypassed that on way down through rocks on the S side of ridge.
Combined with Pinnacle. Clear sunny day with great snow conditions. A walk up.
Clear day at the start, and nothing but clouds on the top.
part of range traverse
Great views. Lots of people.
Gotta be one of the best views in the park. First visit to Rainier, amazing place.
Amazing views of Rainier on a clear day. St. Helens is also visible from this vantage point. Great day trip, I highly recommend.
Trivial peak. No visibility when I was there with cp but I imagine the views is exceptional.
