Nice hike with Bill Couch Mountain. A nice winter option close to town.
I hiked up Bill Couch Mountain first, then wandered over to Plymouth Mountain. It was sunny and hot, some clouds did roll in, but it did not rain. Just over 12 miles hiked today. Plymouth Rock tagged.
Scrambled up the boulders during a 10-miler. Nice view from the top.
Shortest route possible to the summit. Nice hike, beautiful area. First time in this area.
Fun summit block.
Hike with Nicole. We circled the mountain on the Plymouth Mountain trail. It started out sunny and warm, then clouds rolled in near the summit. There was some light rain on the way back, which was not unpleasant at all. The whole thing took a little under 3 hours. I climbed up on Plymouth Rock this time.
Beautiful hike, nice views on the summit, very good.
With Warren Peak & 7361.
With rkymtn. Very cold day- but had the right gear. Tons of deer at trailhead.
Labyrinth of icy trails, but with bad weather in high country this is nice training.
Nice hike. Very icy trail. The scramble was fun. Nice and quiet at the top
Went up to Plymouth Mountain on Daylight Savings Day. A pretty big snowstorm came through the previous day, but that didn't deter the hikers: the trail was well packed down. It turned out to be a nice, sunny day, but I decided not to climb up on the rock, there was still a lot of snow on it.
Climbed with my wife. The trail was well packed, which made for a quick ascent on this cold day. We saw many deer near the parking area when we arrived and before departing. The summit rocks make for a fun, albeit very short, scramble.
Nice hike today. Not too icy, but may invest in some micro spikes. I love Colorado!
Good rock here, too.
Hiked up with my wife and kids. My five year old hiked the entire way up and back all bu himself. Nice hike to a cool summit and a fun geocache (Deer Creek Canyon Cache)
good trail run
Enjoyed a warm, sunny December day on this hike. I especially enjoyed the scramble to the top of the summit boulders. My dog was a little annoyed that I tied him to a scrub oak while summitting, but I kept talking to him to keep him comfortable. The views from on top of this boulder are completely unobstructed. Great day! Hiking partner: Solo. Dog: Stimpy.
Wife, dog and I after a light snow fall...it was real neat.
Made a nice loop by using the Meadowlark trail to the Plymouth Creek trail then up and back down the Plymouth Mountain Trail.
