Poem of Pine Creek

Poem of Pine Creek

A poem I wrote very near this spot on May 19, 2006: The slithering snake of Pine Creek Day ending to close the week Rock cliffs protruding from the hill This was all in His will Valley bottom to mountain top Creek humming, there is no stop Hand of God, rejoice with glee With one finger drew the valley I do see Cloudy skies overhead Trees grasping their rocky bed Call of a dear bird My ears have certainly heard God gives and takes away But gladness in my heart I felt today (August 17, 2008)

Re: Excellent writing

I grew up in northern PA and have only been in Maryland for about 18 months. I do enjoy writing and will try to share here as much as possible. If you ever get the chance, you should head back up to northern PA and visit some of the areas up there again. Thanks for your comments and votes.
