Via Waterfall & Boulder Ridge  Sucess!

When I made it to the meadow, there were no cairns. The GPS coordinates helped. But the trail was a bit overgrown so I had to hunt slightly. The trail was like a game trail...and it never did go between a boulder squeeze or follow any other cairns. Yet the trail was easy enough to follow, I made it to the summit, climbed the rocks, and got fantastic views! This was a surprisingly pleasant summit close to my house.

Waterfall route  Sucess!

I agree that the true highpoint is not the cluster of boulders, but lies a bit north of there. A nice run/hike on a gorgeous day. There is a fairly good climber's trail all the way to the summit.

A Three Hour Tour  Sucess!

The treed summit is annoying, but there is a spot where you can stand on a boulder cluster about 15 feet off the ground. This gives you a good view of the area. The true summit I think is actually a little clearing NNE of the boulder cluster. You'll know what I'm talking about if you get there.

I'll list a second round to this peak when I get a chance, that cuts off quite a bit of distance off of the Waterfall Route.

Nice climb on a windy day with Bismark.
