Good question. My answer is multifaceted. On a Mountain Page the latitude, longitude, route type(s), and elevation are included in the header; however the class of the route(s) and approximate length-of-time to complete the route(s) are not included. In the past several SummitPost members asked me to show this sort of information all together in one easy-to-read place. And, although it is redundant (to a certain extent), I decided to place the info at the beginning of the page
Additionally some of this same information is repeated in the Route Statistics section. I know some consider this doubly redundant, but I’ve come to believe that having this sort of information placed in several spots throughout a page enables readers to find it with a minimal amount of effort.

I found myself constantly being averted to the pictures while reading the route into and text. Make your pictures less appealing!!! ;O)
Great lay-out and description write-up. And yes, the pictures are phenominal! You put some time into this one and it clearly shows.
The pictures on this route are very beautiful. Also your route description is very detailed, I don't think I have seen one quite like that on a page. Very well done, mate. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your comments (and vote). I think good pictures help tell the story and try to do my best with them. I included "extra" details on this route because I wanted to make sure people understood just how bad the bushwhacking was.
