beautiful area!could you tell me what the weather is like in point reyes in early march? i am trying to plan a spring break trip to frisco and would like to spend an appreciable amount of time out there...

Re: beautiful area!It is sort of a toss up. Odds are good you will have great weather, but there is still a reasonable chance of rain. I am not trying to be noncommital, it is just a really transitional month. I definately recommend going to Point Reyes. Where else do you think you might want to go?

Re: beautiful area!if we end up going, pretty much point reyes would be why we went. otherwise, we would like to check out chinatown and the golden gate area... (neither of us have been to san fran before)

Re: beautiful area!Well...I pretty much grew up between there and the wine country. If you want any pointers on where to hike, camp, sleep, eat or what to see, I am happy to help! By the way, don't forget the Redwoods too. Muir Woods is cool but congested. Not far away is Armstrong Woods, which has larger, taller trees and 1/100 of the people...and you can backpack there! It is a gorgeous drive from Pt. Reyes to there too.
