Ski tour from La Gouille
Nice sunny day. Started a bit late in the morning from the village of La Gouille, and reached the summit at about 1 p.m. in solitude. This is quite a popular ski touring summit, as the slopes were full of ski tracks.

Darboneire, Vouasson and Mont de l'Etoile
Coming from the Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges we first climbed the Pointe de Darboneire, after which we followed the Western ridge of the Pointe de Vouasson towards the summit. Descended westwards towards the Mont de l'Etoile.
Still a lot of snow which made ascending and descending probably easier (in stead of loose rocks). Breathtaking views from all 3 summits!

Beautiful day, great views
Having spent the night at Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges, it was a relatively short day trip to Pointe de Vouasson. On the way up, I followed the big trail made by the many skiers on the route from La Gouille. I was the only one on snow shoes.
On the way down, I made a detour and went to the saddle immediately southwest of Mont de l'Etiole, to have a closer look at the mountain I wanted to traverse tomorrow.
