Poorman
Short easy hike from where I parked. Like Zeejay I also did 8829 and Harkley afterwords.

Poorman
Did this one and a few other peaks in the area. Had bushwhack from hell on 8829 because I went a really, really, really stupid way. The most interesting peak of the day was Harkley which I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do until I got there.

Stranded near the mountain
Skewered the gas tank in the car on the way to do a slot canyon trip near the border. It was late so we grabbed our packs and hiked up to the highest of the foothills and found an awesome camp spot with Cougar tracks in the area. Woke up and bagged the peak (Southeast side approach) which included some class 4+ and a tough crack which we bailed on and found a different way up the left side. Ran the final 15 minutes from the false summit to the true summit and then descended the back (east-southeast) side which was MUCH faster and much easier but wasn't the cool, dicey, somewhat scary and beautiful climb that the Southwest side was. Pretty fun stuff.

From the north
The most difficult part of getting this peak was figuring out the roads to get close to it.
