This is the volcano as seen from the top of my house at 62 km from the crater. The ashes were getting higher. This eruption was at 9:50am (July 25, 2006)

Wonderful set of pictures

Nice shots, congratulations.
I summitted Izta in December 2001, and I remember the noise os the small eruptions of gaz and ashes.
This blast must have benn something!
