Did this as a dayhike from the East Fork Blacks Fork trailhead, going up the Little East Fork drainage. Before the clouds rolled in, it felt really hot. I think I lost too much salt on the way up but I survived the trip back. It's a little over 13.5 miles one way and about 4000 feet of cumulative elevation gain.
Based on the number of ascents listed here, on Lists of John, and peakbagger, I would guess this mountain sees maybe one person a year. Actually peakbagger lists someone else having done this same mountain just last week
Climbed the peak in the 1990's.
Started at Center Park. The 5th of 7 12000 footers surrounding Garfield Basin.
