Possible first ascent of Maja Shkurt (2499 m)

Prokletije/Bjeshkët e Nemuna, Albania. Approach from Ropojana (dashed) and the new route Peacehammer, IV UIAA / 5.6 YDS (dotted). Climbed solo (1st pitch roped) on 29 August 2011. It is unclear whether the peak had been climbed before - the route page with details is here.

Hvala Vid, good to see you here :) The full story will follow, but shortly - while I was climbing, Gordan found an old piece of steel cable (via ferrata-like) in another part of this mountain face, not too high above the ground, so maybe the Albanians climbed there in the past. Heh, just another mystery of Prokletije :)
