I was the USFS lookout on Prairie Reef in the summer of 1969. What a fantastic place. Remembering enormous August full moon, marmots, mountain goats, lightning and thunder. 6 weeks up on top. Zero human contact. I had to see a human face after 6 weeks; I guess I am social animal.
