Beautiful Snowshoe
Needed to strap on the snowshoes after the turnoff for Pratt Lake/Island Lake. Not treacherous going up the bolder field in the shallow snow. Totally worth the haul.

TNAB
Mild temps and swift travel up the trail. Brush wasn't quite full foliage yet, so bush-whacking went relatively easy.

Pratt
Not the ideal hike for summer but it gave us a peak on a rainy day.

Winter Or Summer
I've been up many times. Easy boulder climb from the south in summer More interesting as a winter snowshoe trip. The one big step can be an easy walk up or a deal breaker from year to year.

Wind On The Ridge
Total sunshine all day long. Several friends from both OSAT and NWHikers.net were a part of this trip. Some of the usual suspects included Greg, Alexei, Anna, and Ben. It did get windy until we were on the ridge top above Olallie Lake. There was a constant push of 20 miles an hour with sustained gusts reaching 40 to 45 miles an hour. This eventually forced us to drop down below the ridge top. I have to say it's the best view of Kaleetan Peak I've seen.

Hiked while doing a traverse of Pratt to Granite. Nice summit, much less crowded than Granite.

Great Hike, Awesome View!
The boulder scramble was not too technical, and I actually thought that it was fun to climb. The "false summit" offers very scenic views. Highly recommended summit-climb.
